Pennings Mission Updates

Happy New Year!

There are two updates from the Pennings to start off the new year. First, read up on Rev. Pennings work in the Hispanic Christian Ministry. Then read about recent developments in the Pennings family.

May God bless our Lord Jesus as men are called to freely receive him this coming year!

Update from Rev. Pennings

Rev. Pennings (Hispanic Christian Ministry) writes: "I leave today (Wednesday) for Costa Rica after spending a week in Nicaragua. I made some MINTS contacts while on this trip. But most of the trip was spent accompanying the Executive Director of Word & Deed and their Regional Director for Latin America to evaluate the Hurricane Felix project that is being efficiently coordinated by several of my MINTS students on the Atlantic Coast. What a joy to see the close working relationship between MINTS and Word & Deed, especially on the local level where both ministries are prominently seen working together as MINTS students provide relief and development sponsored by Word & Deed together with open air preaching each night of their activities."

Miami International Seminary (MINTS) Newsletter

Rev. Pennings writes:

"Dear HCM Supporters:

Miami International Seminary (MINTS) has been putting together a monthly newsletter. I plan to pass this newsletter along to my HCM email distribution list so that you get the “big picture” of the ministry of MINTS that I am such a small part of. Thank the Lord for the more than 4,000 students studying with MINTS in more than 50 countries around the world."

The November 2009 edition of the MINTS newsletter is available here on MissionsURC.org.
