Sioux Falls URC Fellowship
History
In the spring of 2005, some families from the tri-state area (SD, MN, IA) approached Hills United Reformed Church about the prospects of planting a URC in Sioux Falls. They had a vision for a church that is distinctly Reformed with a passion for reaching the city of Sioux Falls for Christ. By God's grace, the right doors were opened at the right time, and the Sioux Falls URC Fellowship was formed. The group began gathering for worship in September 2005 and called their first minister in December 2006-Rev. Spencer Aalsburg. The Hills URC (Hills, MN) is the overseeing church that is officially planting Sioux Falls URC Fellowship.
Current Projects/Activities
Sioux Falls URC Fellowship meets for worship twice each Lord's Day. Additionally the congregation participates in Catechism classes and Bible Study.
Kids Quest – an after school program designed to reach out to un-churched children in the Sioux Falls area.

Prayer requests
1) Continue to strive together to keep in the bond of peace (Eph. 4:1-6) to the end that Christ would be honored in the life of the church plant.
2) That the Lord would, according to His will, add families to increase the capacity for reaching the community.
3) Wisdom for the Hills consistory as they guide, encourage, and oversee the church plant.
4) Direction for an alternative place to meet for worship.
